Privacy Policy

Hi, I’m Dariush Majidi. Your privacy matters to me. This policy explains what information my apps and website may collect, how it’s used, and what your choices are. I aim to keep data collection to an absolute minimum. Most of my apps work without you giving me any personal details. If I do need information, it’s only to make the app work properly or to respond to you. I never sell your information.
By using my website or apps, you agree to this policy.
1. Personal Information
Personal information is anything that could identify you directly (like your name or email).
You might share personal information if you:
Contact me via email, a feedback form, or in-app “Send Feedback” option — I may see your name, email address, and whatever you choose to include.
Join my mailing list — I’ll have your email address so I can send you product news or updates. You can unsubscribe anytime via the link in the email.
I do not share your personal details with anyone unless it’s legally required (see “Disclosure” below).
2. Non-Personal Information
Non-personal information can’t identify you on its own. For example:
If you send feedback from within an app, you may optionally include device and OS version info to help me troubleshoot.
Some apps use your device’s location to function (e.g., Astrolabe needs location to show the right part of the sky). Your location is processed on your device and is not sent to me.
If the app asks for camera access (like AR features), camera data is used on your device only — I never store it.
3. Other Technologies
All data sent to or from my apps uses encryption (TLS/HTTPS).
Payments and subscriptions are handled exclusively by Apple’s App Store via StoreKit. I never see or store your payment details.
4. Disclosure to Third Parties
I may share information only if:
Required by law, court order, or legal process.
It’s part of a merger, sale, or partnership (in which case you’ll be notified).
5. Data Retention
I don’t create user accounts, so I have nothing to delete on request.
Emails or feedback you send may be kept for as long as needed to provide support or improve the app.
6. Children’s Privacy
I don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the local minimum age). If I learn I have accidentally collected such information, I’ll delete it as quickly as possible.
7. Changes to This Policy
If I change this policy, I’ll update the date at the top and post the new version here.
